Please Breathe Responsibly
by Sebastian Gardner
Visible condensation from my breath, whilst on the nature experience, inspired this concept which commodifies air. This is a way of bringing nature back into our city-based lives, encouraging consumers to take a break by popping open a bottle of distinctive refreshing air. Each bottle includes text that satirises typical wine labels, along with information that plays off alcohol levels by including an air quality percentage from the location captured, bringing focus back to the environmental issue of air pollution.
“Air pollution contributes to 500 deaths a year in Sheffield, causing strokes, lung cancer and cardiovascular disease. The biggest cause of pollution is transport.”
